General Information –Junior Sculling Camp - Summer 2017

Be a part of the Delta Sculling Center's summer Sculling program for young women and men, ages 12-16. The program is for beginners(Novice)- you don't have to know anything about sculling. We'll teach you all you need to know. You'll start in wider boats with skilled partners and as you progress, you can work your way to more advanced smaller boats, perhaps even sculling by yourself by the end of the program! You don't need to have any special equipment. We'll provide all the sculling equipment, water, and snacks. You bring yourself and the desire to learn something new, and the commitment to stick with us for 6 sessions.

Directions to Delta Sculling Center, 4950 Buckley Cove Way, Stockton 95219

Take West March Lane as far as you can to the west until it becomes Buckley Cove Way. You will come directly to the entrance to Buckley Cove Park.

You will see a small stand with a closed gate. Tell the guard inside that you are only going to drop off your child at rowing and you should not have to pay the park entrance fee.

After you pass the guard, make an immediate right into the large parking lot on your right. Continue directly toward the water and the boat ramps.

Drop your child off at the gate in the fence near the water.

We will show you where to go back and park your car if you would like to stay for a little while on the first day. We will use that time to explain our program, show you the boats and other equipment, and for you to meet the staff.

Please come a few minutes early so we can start promptly at 7:30 a.m.
