Golden Rules Of Blueberry Picking

We are thrilled to share our harvest with you! As a visitor to the farm, please be

respectful of our property and the residents of the field, equipment and fellow pickers.

  • Upon arrival at the farm, check in at the barn first. We will get you signed in & issue buckets for the berries.

  • When arriving & leaving the farm, please observe the 5 mph speed limit. There are lots of people walking to be aware of & speeding causes air pollution (dust).

  • Park only in designated parking spaces. We have handicapped parking available for those displaying the appropriate placards.

  • This is a working farm. The equipment, including the drip hoses, you see is vital to our operation so please do not touch.

  • Be kind to the bushes.
We rely on the growth that is produced this year to produce berries next year.
Do not pull, bend or break branches.

  • The field is home to many things. You may encounter various bugs (including
bees & wasps), rodents, bunnies, snakes, deer, nesting birds & numerous lizards. Do not pester, chase or attempt to capture anything but blueberries.

  • The Blueberry field is not tilled. We are a regenerative agriculture farm & part of that means not plowing. This allows the soil in the rows to host a variety of plants (mostly weeds) that retain the topsoil which is crucial to preventing soil erosion. It is uneven & has rodent dens. Please walk carefully. We are stroller, wagons & wheelchair accessible, but it is bumpy
    so take it slow.

  • Farm helpers will let you know what areas are open to picking when you check in. Pick only in those areas. There are signs that say no picking past this point &
the rows are numbered at the ends to help you find the picking area.
