Every summer, the Haggin transforms into a hub of creativity with its Summer Art Workshop for kids ages 6–12! This hands-on program mixes art, reading, and STEM into one big imaginative playground. This year, campers will dive into Inventing a Tale (Session 1) and/or Creating Adventure (Session 2), drawing inspiration from the Museum’s upcoming exhibition, The Art of Tony DeZuniga. Along the way, students will explore DeZuniga’s dynamic work as a comic artist and illustrator—then dream up their own magical characters, action-packed scenes, and original stories to match.

In Epic Tales, young artists step into a world where imagination leads the way. Through creative projects inspired by fantasy, comics, and superheroes, participants will build imaginative worlds, develop bold characters, and visually tell stories of their own making. This immersive experience encourages creative thinking and artistic exploration as kids turn big ideas into epic adventures on the page. Spaces are limited, so secure your spot early for this fantastic summer experience.

Registration begins May 1, 2026. Special Offer: Register for both sessions and receive $20 off! Sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To learn more, visit the Haggin Museum’s website or email education@hagginmuseum.org
