Special Review!

My family and I attended the Disney On Ice Let's Celebrate! show on opening night, Thursday, Feb 10!  The kids had been so excited all week long to see this show, as we have never been to a Disney on Ice event before!

Before we left, they each got into costume...of course, two of them refused to dress as Disney characters but at least we had Cinderella and Buzz Lightyear.

We had amazing seats, close enough to see all the action close-up!

All the popular Disney characters were there, including all the Disney Princesses, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch and, of course, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Woody!  In fact, all the Toy Story characters were there, even the green army men and Hamm, who ice skated on all 4's at certain points!

The ice skating itself was fabulous...all the princesses and princes did stunning lifts and turns!  All the songs that were played were familiar to my kids from the Disney movies they have seen...they were singing along with the characters!

My husband and I were just as excited as the kids, as we pointed out their favorite characters the minute they hit the stage!  There is nothing better than watching a show like this through your children's eyes.  Their little faces were lit up with fascination and delight the entire time!   The magic of Disney is amazing!

I'm so happy we got the opportunity to see this show!  I have no doubt that the next time a Disney on Ice show comes to Stockton, we'll be the first in line to see it!

If you haven't bought your tickets yet, there's still time!!  There are showings at the Stockton Arena Friday, February 11 through Sunday, February 13!  The show features more than 50 characters from 16 Disney stories LIVE on ice, including Tiana from Disney Pictures’ The Princess and the Frog

Get your tickets now at www.stocktontickets.com, Stockton Arena Box Office or call 209-373-1700.

You can save $5.00 of select performances by bringing a non-perishable food item to the Stockton Arena!  All food donations will support the Emergency Food Bank of San Joaquin County.  Limit of 6 tickets per family!
